National Association of College and University Food Services
The Guiding Knife has been an industry member since 2013. For more than 50 years, the National Association of College and University Food Services has supported the college and university foodservice industry by providing members with the programs and resources they need to excel. As a NACUFS member institution, every staff member enjoys access to these programs and resources. Participation in NACUFS benefits the association, the institution, and the individual.

American Culinary Federation
Chef Elena has been an active member of American Culinary Federation for over 10 years, and the ACF has been instrumental in her culinary and pastry development. Chef Elena is an approved ACF judge and the Northeast Regional Pastry CE Trainer. Many of the chefs at The Guiding Knife can assist you with certification and competition preparation.

Les Dames d'Escoffier International
Chef Elena has been a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier International since 2007. Les Dames d’Escoffier is the only world wide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality. The invitation-only membership, composed of 28 individual chapters across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, is highly diversified and reflects the multifaceted fields of contemporary gastronomy and hospitality.
